Plans and pricing
Casting is free to start, with a monthly allowance, and paid tiers lift that allowance when you cover a lot of matches. This page is the full reference: the tiers, what counts against your allowance, and how to manage your plan.
Your allowance is network-wide
You have one caster identity across the whole Braket network, and your monthly cast allowance is counted across every arena, over a rolling 30 days. Cover three matches on one game and two on another, and that is five casts against your month, wherever they happened. The allowance follows your Steam identity, the same way your profile and directory ranking do.

Yearly plans are discounted 20% versus paying month to month, the same as studio plans. Checkout runs through Stripe, so your payment details never touch Braket.
What counts as a cast
A cast is counted when you claim a match or accept an invite to cast one. That is it. A few things that do not count:
- Casts the arena attaches you to as its official caster do not spend your personal allowance — that is the arena's coverage, not yours.
- Dropping a cast does not refund it (so the count reflects matches you took on, not a running total you can churn).
When you have used up your monthly casts and hold no pay-per-cast credit, the cast controls tell you so and point you at the pricing page, where you can upgrade a tier or buy a single cast. Going over the cap on Pro or Ultimate works the same way: buy a pay-per-cast, or move up a tier.
Managing your plan
Subscribe, switch tiers, or buy a pay-per-cast from the pricing page and from your account page, where you can also see how many casts you have left this month. A subscription renews until you cancel; cancelling keeps the tier's higher cap until the paid period ends, then you fall back to the free allowance.
Why caps, not "unlimited"
Caps exist for the health of the ecosystem, not to nickel-and-dime you. An unlimited-for-a-few-dollars plan would let a single caster claim every match in a tournament for almost nothing, crowding out everyone else. Tiered caps plus a modest per-cast overflow keep coverage spread across many casters while still making heavy casting affordable: at Ultimate, fifty casts a month works out to about thirty cents each. Cast as much as you like; the pricing simply scales with how much you cover.
