Clans
A clan is your crew, and on Braket a clan is bigger than any one game. This is where Braket stops being a tournament site and starts being a home.
Clans are cross-game by design
The most important thing to understand about clans is that they do not belong to a single arena. A clan is a platform-level entity: it lives on Braket itself, not inside one game. Your clan tag, your emblem, and your roster travel with you across every game on the network. Recruit a teammate in one game and they are your clanmate in the next one you both pick up. This is the seed of the whole cross-game idea: your friends stay your friends no matter which arena you wander into.
Because clans are platform-wide, you can be in one clan across the entire network at a time. Picking a clan is a real commitment, which is exactly what makes clan membership mean something.
Joining a clan is free
You do not need to pay anything to belong to a clan. Every clan has a unique tag, a short handle like a call sign, and joining is as simple as entering that tag. You will find the clan controls on your My matches page. Type the tag of the clan you want to join, and you are in.
Once you are in a clan, its tag shows up next to your name on your profile, wrapped in its emblem, linking anyone who sees it to the clan's page. You wear your colors everywhere you compete.
Creating a clan is Premium
Founding a clan, on the other hand, is a Braket Premium perk (page 11). If you want to be the one who creates the crew rather than joins one, you subscribe to Premium, then create your clan with a tag (unique across the whole network, so claim a good one early), a name, and an emblem.
Creating a clan makes you its owner, and ownership comes with the keys: you manage the clan, you can toggle whether it is recruiting, and you can disband it if the day ever comes. This split, free to join, Premium to create, is deliberate. Belonging should never cost anything; leadership is the thing worth supporting.
What a clan has
A tag and an emblem. Your identity, compact and visible. The tag brackets your name across the site; the emoji emblem gives it a face.
A roster. The list of members, which follows the clan across every game on the network.
A clan page in the public directory, where anyone can see who you are and who is in the crew.
Clan chat, a private channel just for your members, and here is the special part: clan chat spans arenas. Your clanmates might be scattered across several different games on the network, and clan chat pulls them into one live conversation regardless of which arena each of them is currently playing. It is the always-on room where your crew lives, no matter what anyone is grinding today. You reach it from the chat navigation whenever you are in a clan.
The clan directory and recruitment
All the clans on the network are gathered in a public directory at braket.gg/clans. It is where clans are ranked and discovered, and it is where you go clan-shopping if you are looking for a crew to join.
If you own a clan and want to grow it, you can flip on a recruiting flag. Recruiting clans are marked in the directory and on their page so prospective members know the door is open. It turns the directory into a genuine recruitment board: crews looking for players, players looking for crews, all in one place.
The directory also does something quietly ambitious: it ranks clans by the combined network strength of their members, the points their people have earned across all the games they play. So a clan's standing is not about one game; it is about how strong the crew is everywhere, together. That is the whole spirit of clans on Braket. Your crew is not tied to a single title. It is a group of people who compete under the same banner across the entire network, chat in one room no matter what they are playing, and climb a shared ranking as a team. Build one, or find one, and you will never queue alone again.
